Recommended series that I am currently reading

Updated: Sep 27, 2018

Throne of Glass Series by Sara Maas

This is a new series that I've recently stumbled across and initially I was introduced to this author through her other series A Court of Thorns and Roses. The first book was a bit of a slow start but the series starts to pick up more around the second and third book. The evolution of the main character is a stunning example of this author's commitment to characterization.

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sara Maas

As big a fan as I am of her first series, this one is hands down my favorite. I was immediately captivated by the whole premise of the first book being based on the Beauty and the Beast. What evolves from that though is far beyond a simple fairy tale. The author captures the basic human instincts that we all share and more than that she manages to make us feel sorry for characters that we loath their very presence.

Fever Series by Karen Marie Moning

I did not want to like this series as much as her Highlander series but after the first few books I was caught up in the world of Mac. I was not a fan of the first few books but I kept going and I'm glad that I did. The author explores the boundaries of immortality and humanity and what happens when the two collide.

Dark-hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon

I started this series seven years ago and I haven't been able to put it down since. If you're a lover of fantasy and fiction this series is definitely for you. Although not every book is my favorite there is definitely a wide variety for even the most discerning reader.
